Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using ML Electric's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
Services
ML Electric provides professional electrical services for residential and commercial properties, including but not limited to:
- Electrical troubleshooting and repairs
- Panel upgrades and installations
- EV charger installations
- Lighting installations
- Smart home electrical systems
- Emergency electrical services
- Commercial electrical work
Estimates and Pricing
- All estimates are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated
- Final pricing may vary based on actual conditions discovered during service
- Prices are subject to change if additional work is required beyond the original scope
- Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made
- We accept cash, check, credit cards, and bank transfers
Scheduling and Cancellations
- Service appointments are scheduled based on availability
- We provide arrival windows and will notify you if our technician is running late
- If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours notice
- Emergency services are available 24/7 and may include additional fees
Service Warranty
- All workmanship is guaranteed for one year from the date of service
- Parts and materials are covered by manufacturer warranties
- Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or modifications by others
- To maintain warranty coverage, only ML Electric technicians may perform warranty repairs
Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information about the service location and electrical issue
- Ensure safe access to all work areas
- Remove valuables and fragile items from work areas
- Inform us of any known hazards (asbestos, lead paint, etc.)
- Secure pets during service visits
- Provide payment as agreed upon completion of work
Permits and Inspections
When required by local codes, ML Electric will obtain necessary permits. Permit costs are separate from service charges. All work requiring inspection must pass before final payment is due.
Limitation of Liability
ML Electric's liability is limited to the cost of services provided. We are not liable for consequential, incidental, or indirect damages. Our insurance covers property damage and injury caused by our negligence during service.
Code Compliance
All work is performed in accordance with current National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes. We may recommend upgrades to bring existing systems up to current code standards.
Emergency Services
- Emergency service rates apply to after-hours, weekend, and holiday calls
- Emergency services are prioritized based on safety severity
- Emergency rates are 1.5x standard rates
- A minimum service charge applies to all emergency calls
License and Insurance
ML Electric is licensed by the State of California (License #620784) and maintains full liability and workers' compensation insurance.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with California law. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
